In Addition to the HCG Detox Drops

Alright…this is article 2 in the series devoted to my progress through the HCG diet through HCG Diet Direct. I’ve already figured out that I don’t want to work with any HCG weight loss clinics. (I’m WAY too busy to go out of my way to drive there constantly and I don’t have health insurance). So that means that I decided to work with a reputable company online: HCG Diet Direct.

I also already challenged a friend to a weight loss duel of sorts. She’s considering taking the HCG detox drops with me. If she agrees; the first one to “break” the diet will owe the other one a brand new pair of jeans (recipient’s choice, of course). I figure that’s a good move since after taking the HCG detox drops I’ll be down like a million sizes and I’ll definitely need some new clothes. (I always like thinking positively).

Two Sample HCG Recipes

Prospective HCG program users often ask for sample recipes they can try to get an idea of what they’re signing up for! Sample Recipe #1: Chicken Marinara

You’ll need:
chicken (approx. 100 grams)
tomato (just one, diced)
garlic (3 cloves, minced)
salt and pepper (a dash of each)
garlic powder (a dash)
chili powder (half a tsp)
basil (one tsp)
oregano (one tsp)

Follow the directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place half your tomatoes in the bottom of your favorite casserole dish. Sear your chicken with a dash of pepper, a dash of salt and a dash of garlic powder for a couple minutes on each side. Then put it in the casserole dish on top of the tomatoes. Immediately after adding the chicken, add your minced garlic. Toss all of the remaining ingredients in small bowl separately and then place over the top of the chicken in the casserole dish. Cover it and cook for 45 minute to an hour. It’s best served warm so let it cool for 10 minutes or so before you eat!

Sample Recipe #2: Turkey and Tomato Soup

You’ll need:
turkey (approx. 100 grams…already cooked)
canned tomatoes (stewed or crushed-get organic if possible)
garlic (crushed, 3 cloves)
red wine vinegar (2 tsp)
Just a pinch of the following seasonings: red pepper flakes, rosemary, basil, cumin, parsley

Follow the directions:
Put tomatoes and all the seasonings in a pot and cook it on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add the turkey and increase the heat to bring the soup to a boil. Keep it heating for another 8 minutes or so and then let it cool slightly before serving.

So now you have 2 recipes of the many that will be available to you when on the HCG Diet Direct program. Which to Choose? HCG Injections or Drops?

Many dieters are choosing to work with HCG in their quest to lose weight. It’s not a hard decision. HCG programs offer high average of weight loss; up to 1-2 pounds per day. But even after deciding to use HCG…there’s still one more decision to make: injections or drops?
